Winner of the Women in Art, H.S.O.A. Emerging Abstract Painting Prize

About Lindsey

Lindsey Tyson is a British contemporary artist whose abstract compositions are guided by intuition and a deep engagement with process.

From mundane pavements to powerful landscapes; inspired by her surroundings and the dramatic play of light, form, and energy, her paintings boldly capture movement and atmosphere. Lindsey skilfully combines mixed media with encaustic wax and oils, using a limited palette to not detract from the surface.

After a successful career in textiles, Lindsey recently decided to focus solely on her painting practice.
